Install the Prism Plugin for Figma

Prism comes in two parts: the After Effects extension (already installed) and this free Figma plugin that sends your designs across. Two minutes and you're done.

Download the Figma Plugin ZIP, ~18 KB - unzip it anywhere (e.g. Documents)

How to install

Download & unzip

Download the ZIP above and extract it. Keep the folder somewhere permanent - Figma loads the plugin from it.

Open the Figma desktop app

Development plugins can only be imported in the desktop app, not the browser. Open any design file.

Import the plugin

Menu → Plugins → Development → Import plugin from manifest… then select the manifest.json file inside the unzipped folder.

Connect to After Effects

In After Effects open Window → Extensions → Prism. Then in Figma run Plugins → Development → Prism, select your frames and hit Send.

Prism is coming to Figma Community soon - installs will then be one click, no ZIP needed.
